We have studied the polymerization kinetics of ethylene in the presence of (C5H5)2TiCl2-Al(C2H5)2C1 in mixtures of benzene and dichloroethane-1, 2, and examined the molecular-weight distribution (MWD) of the polyethylene obtained. 2. In the polymerization of ethylene in mixtures of benzene and dichloroethane-1, 2, the synthesized polyethylene has a bimodal molecular-weight distribution. The character of the bimodality of MWD can be changed by altering the concentration of one of the components of the reaction mixture.
