This project senses any accident in the vehicle and intimates pre-programmed numbers like the owner of the vehicle, ambulance, police etc. The Global System for Mobile (GSM) technology is used to send the position of the vehicle as a Short Message Service to those numbers. And also the position of the vehicle can be obtained by the owner of the vehicle or anyone with proper permission by sending a Short Message Service to a number. Most of the companies require keeping track of their vehicles, with this equipment we can keep track of the vehicle by periodically sending Short Message Service and the position of the vehicle is sent by the GSM modem as a SMS to the user.
