TY - JOUR AU - Markaryan, E. AB - 1. The coefficient of reflection of the studied tissues of internal organs of the human body at wavelengths shorter than 600 nm does not exceed 0.2, whereas at wavelengths longer than 600 nm it increases up to 0.6–0.7. 2. The integral coefficient of reflection of the studied tissues of healthy internal organs of the human body is 0.2–0.25. In certain pathological states the value of the integral coefficient of reflection is increased to 0.3–0.33. 3. Various pathological lesions have a contrast to the surrounding background of up to 0.2–0.4, and they can be easily identified by an endoscopist. 4. Use of xenon lamps instead of incandescent lamps in endoscopic light sources allows the colorimetric parameters of endoscopic image to be brought much closer to the actual parameters of the studied biological tissue.
