TY - JOUR AU1 - Sotskov, B. AB - B. I. Sotskov UDC 615.014.83 At the present time the process of filling ampuls with solutions for injection is carried out automatically in many pharmaceutica~ chemical works. However, the establishment of the height of the vacuum in such systems for ampuls of different volume is carried out by manual regulation of the vacuum sensor to the ne- cessary level of vacuum. Manual regulation leads to errors in the establishment of the vacuum level and to a reduction in the precision of dosing. With the aim of eliminating these inadequacies a scheme has been developed, made, and put into production in the N. A. Semashko Moscow Pharmaceutical-Chemical Works for the automatic filling of ampuls with solution in accordance with their volume. A block diagram Qf the scheme for controlling the filling process is shown in Fig. 1 for two values of the ampul volume. When necessary the device may be changed to a large number of gradations of cali- brated ampuls. The control system was built from contact-free elements of the "Logika-T" series. The start,up device and level sensors were developed in the works. The ampul volume controller with two inserts is shown in Fig. 2.
