TY - JOUR AU - Lee, Chun-Kyu AB - Warpage in injection-molded products can cause various issues in the final product. Warpage can be reduced by uniform cooling or by adding additives. In this study, a rapid cooling and heating device is installed on a mold and the ensuing temperature distribution was observed. The regression analysis was performed to determine whether warpage is affected by injection molding conditions. Warpage is not affected by injection molding conditions. However, it was found to be affected by resin temperature in the case of a resin containing 30% glass fibers added to polyamide 66. SEM imaging was used to confirm the distribution of the fibers. It was observed that carbon fibers were densely distributed in PA66 + CF40%(Polyamide 66 with 40% carbon fiber added), whereas glass fibers were not densely distributed in PA66 + GF30%(Polyamide 66 with 30% glass fiber added).
