AB - Abstract This represents the bulk of the talk at the joint meeting of the 24th July, with Sir Thomas Creed in the chair. Mr.Gaitskell, a brother of the Chancellor of the Exchequer in the last Government, was managing director of the Scheme for its last years. His remarks mainly concern the wider lessons of this most successful of all economic experiments in British Africa.
