AB - This picture was taken in 1964 by Frank Taylor working as a forest technician for International Paper's Pine Harbor District headquartered in Eulonia, Georgia. The crew worked for Ben Townsend, a local logger and landowner. Mr. Townsend specialized in logging sawtimber and poles. The Logger's Dream was a mechanical loader that offered the logger increased productivity over the use of manual log cant hooks. The Logger's Dream soon lost its advantage as hydraulic loaders offered an explosion in logging productivity.
