Maslennikov At the Aleksinsk "Tyazhpromarmatura" Plant we have developed and introduced a device for assembling and welding the wedges of gate valves with Dy = 150-200 mm. The device (Fig. 1) consists of the welded frame 8 and the stationary 1 and the movable 7 supports with the self-centering three-jawed chucks 2 fastened on them. The chucks are placed at the required angle with the help of the worm 6, the worm segment 5, and the stop 11. The disks of the gate valve wedge being assem- bled are fastened in the device with the help of the jaws 4. One disk of the gate valve is located in the left chuck and other in the right. The position of the disks relative to one another is fixed according to the markings on the set screws 3. After this the right movable support with the chuck and the disk fastened in it is, with the help of the screw 9 and the nut 10, placed next to the left support with the chuck and the disk fastened in it. Then the two disks are TI - A device for assembling and welding the wedges of gate valves JF - Chemical and Petroleum Engineering DO - 10.1007/BF01143503 DA - 2005-01-28 UR - https://www.deepdyve.com/lp/springer-journals/a-device-for-assembling-and-welding-the-wedges-of-gate-valves-siI75AhwIE SP - 81 EP - 81 VL - 12 IS - 1 DP - DeepDyve ER -
