AB - German facilities management company, Thyssen Informatik GmbH (TIC) has gained increased applications availability and control by working with Candle Corporation, provider of systems availability solutions for networked businesses to enhance. TIC, a subsidiary of $23billion‐turnover German steel company Thyssen AG, has more than 70 systems management customers and a turnover of $80million. Considers the trust placed by customers in outsourcing their systems to TIC and the complexity of ensuring systems availability across a large number of diverse platforms (IBM, DEC, HP, Siemens and client‐server). Concentrates on MQSeries middleware and Candle’s Availability Command Center solutions (OMEGAMON, OMEGAVIEW, Candle Command Center etc.) which have ensured a very effective operation indeed at TIC.
