TY - JOUR AU - Kotyuk, A. AB - Flowmeter test installations. Problems of calibrating and testing flowmeters and fluid meters. In their paper P. P. Kremlevskii, N. F. Gonek, and M. S. Pedan reported on automatic continuosly-operating gas metering instal- lations developed by the VNIIM, one of which measures by means of metering vessels of 0.4 m 3 flows up to 150-200 m~/h and the other by means of 5 m 3 vessels flows up to 1500 m3/h. Each installation consists of two vessels which are filled alternately and provide by means of an automatic equipment a continuous flow of air measured with an error of +(0.2-0.4)%. Such installations are suitable for testing both gas meters and flowmeters. I. S. Brodin reported on the work carried out at the Ivano-Frankovskii plant in organizing the testing of gas meters, the most important part of which consists in developing a gas-measuring installation which takes gas-meter readings on the conveyor. The equipment has an error of 4(0.2-0.4)% and is suitable for measuring flows up to 1500 m3/h. I. A. Kolyada informed the conference on the beginning of the development of a referencegas-metering instal- lation at the Kiev Institute of Gas Utilization of the Academy of Sciences, Ukr. SSR. L. L.
