TY - JOUR AU - Gandilyan, D. V. AB - This paper considers the current state of a new area in microsystems engineering—microsystem electromechanics. A wide range of its practical applications and prospects for further development are analyzed. The main technological ways of creating functional elements of micro- and nanoelectromechanical-energy converters are discussed in detail from top to bottom and bottom to top. The areas of their promising application in traditional and new technology (in IT and computer technologies, medicine, aerospace and ordnance systems, etc.) are described. Some key issues of generalized physicomathematical modeling of such converters are considered. A generalized approach to the study of their dynamic and power characteristics as complex dynamic systems with binary conjugate subsystems is proposed.
