TY - JOUR AB - INFORMATION UDC 621:66.002.2 Type OP6-110MKI~ Adjustable Blade Vertical Pump This unit (Fig. 1) is a single stage, adjustable blade, vertical pump. It is physically small in size and has a compartmented water inlet. The impeller blades are positioned by an electromechanical drive. Blade angle is remotely controlled. It is designed for pumping fresh or sea water containing not more than 1000 rag/liter suspended solids at ---350*. Maximum (solid) size is 0.2 ram and hardness is -<5 on Mass Scale. Pump and motor shafts are connected by a rigid flange coupling. Axial thrust and weight of the rotor are taken up by a pivot journal in the electric motor. Pump rotation is counterclockwise viewed from the motor end. Figure 2 shows the pump (Q, H, NPSH, ~ ) curves. The unit includes the pump-electric motor assembly, spare parts, and measuring instruments.
