TY - JOUR AU - Room, T. G. AB - 1936.] GENERALIZATION OF THE KUMMER 16 CONFIGURATION (II). 52D A GENERALIZATION OF THE KUMMER 16 CONFIGURATION (11) By T. G. ROOM. [Received 28 September, 1936.—Read 12 November, 193(3.] :: The interest of Part I of this paper* centred round the Kummer - type " 64 configuration in [7], comprising sixty-four points lying b} sets of eight in sixty-four solids, which themselves lie by sets of eight in sixty- four primes. In this part, although the more general Kummer-type figure 2m m of 2 points in [2 — 1] and its associated spaces finds a place, the centre of interest has shifted to the " Weddle -type " configuration in [2m— 1] on which the Kummer figure can be represented in the same way as the 10, figure of [3] can be represented on the Weddle manifold in [3]. The configurations have been discussed very fully by Coble (2, 3, 4)t using hyperelliptic ^-functions (with the Weddle-type configuration as a foundation), and there is not therefore the need to enter here into the detail tha t was necessary in 1. The outlook of this Par t is still geometrical, and it leads to results of a kind rather different from TI - A Generalisation of the Kummer 166 Configuration (II) JO - Proceedings of the London Mathematical Society DO - 10.1112/plms/s2-42.1.529 DA - 1937-01-01 UR - https://www.deepdyve.com/lp/wiley/a-generalisation-of-the-kummer-166-configuration-ii-ojge9OC2VF SP - 529 EP - 545 VL - s2-42 IS - 1 DP - DeepDyve ER -
