TY - JOUR AU - Lewis, Ralph, W. AB - Abstract With a few exceptions biological principles are the theories and relational laws of biology. A list of 36 laws and theories is proposed as appropriate for inclusion in a general biology course. It is also proposed that if much of the course is organized around concisely stated laws and theories, general biology can be taught more simply and more logically.
