TY - JOUR AU - Zueva, V. AB - Thus, the Egorov apparatus is capable of high accuracy and can be used as an objective instrument for measur - ing optical defects in sheet glass. Repeated examination of the same specimen with the apparatus yields fully repeat- ing curves. To arrange the systematic control of the optical properties of glass it is necessary that all plants beequipped with this apparatus. Timely determination of the quality of glass makes it possible to establish the influence of the changes in the manufacturing cycle on the development of waviness and hollowness and to prevent these defects.
