TY - JOUR AU - Spivakov, A. S. AB - Conclusions 1. On subjecting samples to cycling stresses above the yield stress at high temperatures, the tensile strength and yield stress increase, the latter more so than the former. The maximum increment in these parameters occurs at the initial stage of cyclical loading. 2. The most sensitive characteristic of damage under conditions of cyclic loading is the ratio σ0.2 /σB which may serve as an indication of the embrittlement of the material.
