A SIMPLE METHOD FOR TUNING ACTIVE FILTERS NORBERT FLlEGE Znstitut fur Nachrichtensysteme, Universitat Karlsruhe, D-7500 Karlsruhe 1, West Germany INTRODUCTION Active filters are often cascaded in second-order building blocks, thus enabling the pole- and zero parameters of each section to be individually measured and trimmed. The main problem of tuning each of the blocks lies in the practical evaluation of the necessary parameters. DETERMINATION OF TUNING PARAMETERS The following gives a simple method of obtaining the necessary parameters for the tuning procedure with emphasis only on commonly used transfer functions of the form H ( s )= ais ’ s2 sdmlsml + IS,^^' i = O , 1,2 which are adequately prescribed by the parameters ah d , and equation ( 2 )should serve TI - A simple method for tuning active filters JF - International Journal of Circuit Theory and Applications DO - 10.1002/cta.4490070214 DA - 1979-04-01 UR - https://www.deepdyve.com/lp/wiley/a-simple-method-for-tuning-active-filters-nC5VjtkOk0 SP - 270 EP - 272 VL - 7 IS - 2 DP - DeepDyve ER -
