The design of high-current and high-voltage switchgears lacks a relatively mature scheme, and the lack of a mature design scheme in busbar selection and structural design will bring many problems to the structural design, manufacturing and operation of switching equipment. Therefore, on the basis of the existing medium-mounted high-voltage switchgear, the structure of the high-voltage switchgear and the selection of the main busbar are studied. The connection scheme of the busbar, the installation of the current transformer, the space of the receiving cabinet and the installation mode of large size cable are also designed, the impact on the eddy current and the heat dissipation of the switchgear are also carried out. After full consideration, a high-current metal armored pull-out switching device with a rated current of 4000A is designed.
