TY - JOUR AU - Giles, K., L. AB - Abstract Intraspecifically fused protoplasts of soybean were found to be capable of cell wall regeneration and limited mitotic activity over a period of several weeks. When interspecific fusion was accomplished between soybean and crabgrass protoplasts a cell wall was regenerated around the aggregate, but no mitotic activity was observed.
