TY - JOUR AU1 - Zharov, V. AU2 - Aleksandriiskii, S. AB - centrated solutions AE n remains unchanged for each solvent with an increase in the MA content of the copolymer above 8%: For a DMFA solution AE n =23 kJ/mole and for a 51.5% NaCNS solu- tion 34.5 kJ/mole (Fig. i). The structure of concentrated solutions of the copolymers of AN undergoes an appreciable change with the introduction of up to 8% MA units into the PAN chain. This is confirmed by the significant change in n with an increase in the MA content of the copolymer to 8%, the appreciable change in ~cr (from 630 to 200 N/m2), and the lower AE n values. An increase in the MA content of the copolymer to 8% thus results in the formation of a more labile struc- tural network in equiconcentrated solutions. In moderately concentrated solutions the intensity of the molecular interaction mani- fests itself to a lesser extent in the copolymer than in the homopolyacrylonitrile. The result is that the viscosity is lower whatever the shear stress and that the AE n values are also lower. The experimental results obtained in this investigation support the standpoint [i] that the difference in the mechanical characteristics of concentrated solutions and solids is TI - Cooling the polyester fibre in the spinning process JF - Fibre Chemistry DO - 10.1007/BF00548789 DA - 2004-10-14 UR - https://www.deepdyve.com/lp/springer-journals/cooling-the-polyester-fibre-in-the-spinning-process-iMMDJ2l4zX SP - 92 EP - 95 VL - 12 IS - 2 DP - DeepDyve ER -
