'% N la, R = F,Flumazenil Ib,R=NOz At our center a Siemens HRRT PET scanner has recently been installed. This high resolution PET camera will be used for small animal PET studies. A high specific activity is needed for high-resolution PET studies of receptor systems(6). However, with the current production techniques of ["CJ labeled receptor ligands only a specific activity of around 100 GBq/pmol at time of injection is obtained. Therefore one of the main research themes at our center is the development of "Flabeled PET tracers via nucleophilic fluorination reactions, eliminating the problem of the specific activity.
