TY - JOUR AU - Khasanov, R. G. AB - The results of study of fluid distribution in mass transfer apparatuses having packings made of mesh with triangular corrugations are presented. Models of radial and longitudinal mixing of the fluid were constructed, taking account of its spreading and uneven sprinkling over the apparatus cross section. A relationship of the coefficient of longitudinal fluid phase mixing in variously sized apparatuses sprinkled unevenly with the coefficient of longitudinal fluid phase mixing in a model apparatus was obtained. The results of laboratory experiments match the results of theoretical studies satisfactorily. The effect of scale factor decreases with increase of the coefficient of fluid spreading.
