TY - JOUR AU - Anipenko, S. AB - F. I. Fastov and S. D. Anipenko UDC 621.783 One of the important problems in machine building is to increase the motor potential of machines and mechanisms. This is achieved in two ways: use of higher'quality, and con- sequently more expensive materials, or increasing the strength and wear resistance of com- ponents made of cheaper structural steels by heat and chemical heat treatment methods using advanced technology and equipment. In a number of factories heat treatment of components and blanks is carried out in universal equipment (shaft, chamber, carousel furnaces, etc.), which does not have means for mechanization and automation, and does not provide stable production parameters. In addition, the whole heat treatment cycle (heating for hardening, quenching, washing, tempering) is carried out in different equipment, and therefore there is a requirement for repeated inter- operation transport of articles, carried out manually, as a result of which their quality and life are reduced. At the VNIITMASh a quenching and tempering unit of the pusher type for heat treatment of articles has been developed for the following production operations: heating for harden- ing articles placed on trays to the required temperature; quenching in hot oil on a descend- ing table; TI - Hardening and tempering unit of the pusher type JF - Metal Science and Heat Treatment DO - 10.1007/BF00715850 DA - 2004-11-17 UR - https://www.deepdyve.com/lp/springer-journals/hardening-and-tempering-unit-of-the-pusher-type-h0ff5UE8h1 SP - 390 EP - 391 VL - 29 IS - 5 DP - DeepDyve ER -
