Myasnikova In connection with studies on the interactions of columbium and chromium carbides with solid solu- tions of nickel [1], it has become necessary to investigate the phase structure of these alloys. Alloys* of the following charge compositions were investigated: No. 1 Alloy containing 10% NbC and 90% y~ (where @ was a nickel solid solution alloyed with Cr 7.0, A1 3.0, W 3.0, and Mo 3.0 wt.%) and No. 2 Alloy containing 5% NbC, 5% TiC, and 90% 75. Microstructure analysis data indicate that these alloys are of a two-phase structure. An electrolytical method of anodically dissolving the alloys was applied to separate the carbidie pha- ses formed in these alloys, using an electrolyte containing 100 ml HC1 (1.19), 100 g citric acid, 3 g succinic acid, and 900 ml waters and operated at a current density of 0.5 A/cm 2. Another electrolyte containing 50 ml HC1 (1.197 and 1000 ml CH3OH and operated at a current density of 0.1 A/cm 2 was used for comparison purposes [2]. The separated anode slimes were dried to a constant weight and TI - Separation and study of carbidic phases formed in nickel alloys JO - Powder Metallurgy and Metal Ceramics DO - 10.1007/BF00774821 DA - 2004-11-24 UR - https://www.deepdyve.com/lp/springer-journals/separation-and-study-of-carbidic-phases-formed-in-nickel-alloys-gayabkDWKt SP - 137 EP - 139 VL - 8 IS - 2 DP - DeepDyve ER -
