N, Maslennikov The device developed in Heavy Industrial Fitting Aleksin Plant for welding fitting drive handwheels (Fig. I) consists of the stand i and the rotating base 2 located on it, on which are located the stationary 3 and movable 5 supports. In each of the sleeves of the sup- ports is located a rotating fork, on the shaft of which there are rotating rollers 4. The distance between the supports required for the diameter of the handwheel being welded is set with the crank 6, the screw 8, and the nut 7. Rotating the handwheel, the rim with the spokes and the hub is welded. As a result of the inlroduction of this device there has been a reduction in labor requirement and an improvement in working conditions for the welders.
