TY - JOUR AU - Nagibin, G. E. AB - The resistance of different TiB2 powders to oxidative degradation is studied by synchronous thermal analysis. The temperature dependence of oxidation rate of the powders is determined by the size and morphology of their constituting particles. Our findings can be used to establish the structural and morphological properties of powdered titanium diboride that are optimal for its use in wettable protective composite coatings for the floor of an aluminum electrolyzer.
