AB - The Stefan problem is considered for freezing of spherical and cylindrical bodies submerged in a cooling agent. A method is suggested for analytical solution of this problem. Formulas are obtained for the freezing time and volume-average temperatures of a cylinder and sphere after completion of the freezing process.
