Zaitsev Spherical surfaces for the bearings of roller supports in rotary kilns on ordinary metal-cutting ma- chines at the Yamsk Dolomite Combine are processed with several new devices. Figure 1 shows the device for processing the internal spherical surface of the bearing frame of a rotary kihl established on a horizontal machine model 2620B. In designing the device we use the principle of set movement of the cutting tool, Figure 2 shows a device fitted with bolts on the crosspiece 2 of the machine. The device rotates from the spindle 1 through a drive rod 4 and a sliding button 6. The other end of the device rotates in the sleeve of the back support 10. In using the device the chuck is disconnected from the speed box, and freely rotates with the device. On the half axle 9 is fitted a lever 7 with the cutter holder which may be rotated around the axle 8. The drive for turning the lever 7 operates through a lever 5, connected to the rod of the drive 4, and the spindle 1 of the machine.
