TY - JOUR AU - Lee, Jae Sung AB - Single‐crystalline nanowires of BaTiO3 and SrTiO3 have been synthesized by a hydrothermal method from all‐inorganic, low‐cost raw materials, without a structure‐directing template. The nanowires have a phase‐pure, cubic perovskite structure, with diameters in the range of 50–200 nm and lengths of a few to tens of micrometers. The growth mechanism is also investigated. As we use a simple procedure under mild conditions, scaling the process up for large‐scale production should be very easy.
