AB - A novel decision support system PriceStrat is described which helps senior managers in building societies and banks to take better interest rate mix decisions within a highly competitive environment by explicitly taking into account the competitors' moves. This system is one of a family of such systems which have been developed recently for tackling various strategic and operational decisionmaking problems in different industries.
