Since hematologic and bacteriologic and other procedures are given unreservedly , there is no vali d reason for thi s omission. Eac h chapter is a treatise in itself, dealing with the subject adequately and compreĀ­ hensivel y and having valuable references. Chapter by chapter , the entir e field of clinical patholog y is thu s covered, although there is unequa l weighting of chapters , a defect often inheren t in books written by several contributors.
