AB - Advantages and problems of the electrophoretic display design are considered. To increase its lifetime a new EPD version is proposed, and operation process is described. Main distinguish feature is the present of an agile film as the third electrode. Such a display can be manufactured on the base of standard technological processes and promises to be X-Y multiplex addressed, simple and cheap for manufacturing.
