She is the author of Daybooks of Discovery: Nature Diaries in Britain 1770-1870 (2007) and has pubished articles on natural history and science in the work of Anna Barbauld, George Eliot, and Gerard Manley Hopkins. Michael A. Bryson is associate professor of Humanities in the Evelyn T. Stone College of Professional Studies at Roosevelt University. In 2010 he co-founded Roosevelt’s new undergraduate program in Sustainability Studies, the first of its kind in the Chicago region. His publications include Visions of the Land: Science, Literature, and the American Environment from the Era of Exploration to the Age of Ecology (U of Virginia P, 2002). Simmons B. Buntin is the founding editor of Terrain.org: A Journal of the Built & Natural Environments. He has published two books of poetry: Bloom (Salmon Poetry, 2010) and Riverfall (Salmon Poetry, 2005).
