TY - JOUR AU - Jin, Guangxiang AB - Power line communication (PLC) technology utilizes the existing power line network as channel for information transmission, leveraging its advantages of convenient deployment, construction, and low usage costs. However, the complexity of the power network architecture, the large and diverse number of connected loads, and the dynamic changes in connection status may significantly affect communication performance of the PLC. The impact of different power grid topology on PLC communication performance is studied in this paper, by proposing a method for the equivalent simplification of power grid topological structures, we derive and construct a unified PLC network impedance model and an energy transmission loss model. Through simulations of signal transmission in the range of 30kHz to 30MHz, the effects of different power grids network topology types, and various branch and node configurations on PLC network impedance and transmission capabilities is analyzed.
