TY - JOUR AU - Demedts, G AB - An apparatus is presented which compensates automatically for the ohmic voltage drop occurring in electrochemical potentiostatic measurements, between the working electrode surface and the tip of the capillary connected to the reference electrode. The apparatus measures the potential during very short interruptions of the current. It has an input impedance of 10 T Omega and can be connected to any potentiostat or current source and adapted to the system under study. The instrument operates over large ranges of current and potential, regardless of the polarity.
