TY - JOUR AU1 - LEE, G., L. AU2 - SMITH, D., J. AB - Abstract Surveys of factory sites revealed the presence of crocidolite asbestos in a number of places. Dust sampling and visual evidence suggested a potential occupational health risk in one of the areas. A procedure for sealing the asbestos deposits and ensuring continual maintenance was adopted and is described. Some cost-effectiveness data relative to removal and replacement with alternative materials is given.
