AB - This is a description of how a boy suffering from delayed speech due to emotional disturbances was helped through "child-centered therapy." Intelligibility of speech as well as emotional adjustment improved. The author feels that this case tends to "re-enforce the hypothesis that child-centered therapy can be adequate treatment for some kinds of delayed speech."
