TY - JOUR AU - Chasovskoi, E. AB - The high resistance to thermal shock of composites based on Si3N4 — BN is caused by the favorable combination of the thermophysical and mechanical properties. The present work is devoted to the evaluation of the thermal shock resistance of a composite material of grade OTM-918. The thermophysical and mechanical properties of the material are evaluated in a wide temperature range. The heat resistance is determined, and the behavior of homogeneous and multilayer articles with variable properties are simulated under the effect of thermal shock. The results of tests of the articles are presented.
