AB - The development of recommendations on the adjustment of the blades used for cutting rolled products at the Chelyabinsk combine has eliminated the rejection of tubes for defects caused by burrs and bent sections on the edges of the skelp. It has become possible to consistently obtain a quality cut on the skelp by providing sheet shop No. 4 with a stand that allows mechanized assembly and adjustment of the blades of the rotary shears before they are installed in the unit that cuts the skelp lengthwise.
