TY - JOUR AU - Karaulov, A. AB - in an article devoted to the mechanical design of additive manufacturing operations that are carried out in several stages, particular attention was given to such stages as alkylation, sulfonation, and additive clean- up; processes in stirred reactors and in film contact apparatus Were analyzed. Results published in the journal from studies of the thermophysical properties of the products in the alkylation stage were used in developing and commercializing a process for the alkylation of phenol with olefins in a reactor with a regulated tempera- ture profile. In an article on acceleration of the sulfonation process in sealed stirred reactors, it was shown that such apparatus offers considerable promise in additive manufacture, particularly in the case of processes taking place in the diffusion region. Favorable experience along these lines has been accumulated in the carboxylation stage in the production of alkytsaticylate additives; this experience has been reported in the pages of the journal. The quality of additives is highly dependent on the degree to which they are purified to remove solid con- taminants. A number of articles have been published on the use of filter aids in the filtration of antioxidants and succinimide additives, and advantages have been demonstrated for TI - Prospects in the production of process greases and fluids JF - Chemistry and Technology of Fuels and Oils DO - 10.1007/BF00727670 DA - 2004-11-18 UR - https://www.deepdyve.com/lp/springer-journals/prospects-in-the-production-of-process-greases-and-fluids-b7Vncoavdp SP - 17 EP - 18 VL - 17 IS - 1 DP - DeepDyve ER -
