Reviewed by Hugo J. Hahn* This French annual of public international law is now in its third decade. Such continuity is due to quite a few elements, but the main credit must be given to Suzanne Bastid, Professor of Public In ternational Law, now emerita, in the University of Paris II, and member of the Institut de France. Prof. Bastid and her team have attained a standard of craftsmanship which is in the finest French tradition. Madame Bastid could always count on the advice of a board (comite de redaction) of eminent composition, but she has car ried on the genuine editorial work herself, aided only by Daniel Vignes, Director in the Secretariat of the European Communities' Council of Ministers, one of her former students. Beginning with Vol. 31 th e task is being shared with Professor D. Bardonnet, of the University of Paris II, and Secretary General, Hague Academy of In ternational Law. Until Vol. 27 (1981), the Annual was published by th e French group of the former students of that Academy with ma terial support of TI - Annuaire Français De Droit International JO - American Journal of Comparative Law DO - 10.2307/840134 DA - 1987-10-01 UR - https://www.deepdyve.com/lp/oxford-university-press/annuaire-fran-ais-de-droit-international-YzhVLI2s27 SP - 827 EP - 830 VL - 35 IS - 4 DP - DeepDyve ER -
