This is the Tribunal’s Decision on the Respondent’s application dated 21 August 2009, in which the Respondent seeks an order from the Tribunal requiring the Claimant “to remove Mr. [Barton] Legum from the case and to forbid him from participating in it in any way.” The Respondent cites as the ground for its application that Mr. Legum was until 31 December 2008 employed by a law firm of which one of the Members of the Tribunal is a member. 2. The application is opposed by the Claimant. The background is as follows.
