TY - JOUR AU1 - Shabyshev, L. AB - PRODUCTION ORGANIZ ATION AND ECONOMY IMPROVEMENT OF THE TOOL ECONOMY IN PIPE FITTINGS MANUFACTURING PLANTS L. A. Shabyshev UDC 658.563.002.237 The organization of the tool household at a number of plants of the pipe fittings subbranch does not fully correspond to the requirements of auxiliary manufacture. This applies in the first instance to the administra- tion of tool services, Besides this, some plants do not have the necessary organizational subdivisions (a cen- tralized sharpening section, a sorting and repair point, technical supervision of tool utilization) and the tool sections are not fully staffed. All this hinders the fulfillment of important tasks, such as the repeated use and reconditioning of tools, the use of technical standards for tool consumption, technical supervision of tool utili- zation, and creates other problems which result in an increased toot consumption. In some plants a shortcoming in the operation of to01 services is the incorrect inclusion of sharpening operations in the main manufacturing workshops. The cutting tools are sharpened by the lathe operators them- selves: This results in significant losses in working time and in a reduced sharpening quality. The existing practice of supplying the working places with tools also leads to unproductive working time TI - Improvement of the tool economy in pipe fittings manufacturing plants JF - Chemical and Petroleum Engineering DO - 10.1007/BF01837164 DA - 2005-05-21 UR - https://www.deepdyve.com/lp/springer-journals/improvement-of-the-tool-economy-in-pipe-fittings-manufacturing-plants-XROX8sOjLb SP - 722 EP - 724 VL - 12 IS - 8 DP - DeepDyve ER -
