TY - JOUR AU - Chen, Haigen AB - This paper demonstrates an algebraic algorithm performed in the control loop of a Brushless DC Motor (BLDCM) speed controller by computing the PI controller parameter that can be accepted. Using methodology of PI controller stability analysis, accurate stability conditions can be derived for the BLDC Motor speed controller. The results of applying the new method ensure the system stability and fast response by tuning the PI controller in the order of the motor and mechanical constant.
