TY - JOUR AU - Medvedev, A. AB - It has been shown that Fe-Mn sorbents prepared on the basis of ferromanganese concretions of the Gulf of Finland possess a sufficiently high (≥15 wt %) capacity with respect to the sulfur compounds (H2S, RSH, SO2). The results obtained permit us to consider them as a new promising universal material for purifying gases from sulfur compounds in various industries. The advantages of Fe-Mn sorbents over other materials are the possibility of regeneration for repeated utilization, their high sorption capacity, and low cost.
