AB - CALL FOR PAPERS European Transactions on Telecommunications and Related Technologies (Em) Focus on ECONOMICS OF TELECOMMUNICATIONS A revolution is taking place in telecommunications. A competitive communications sector is emerging based on a dynamic mixture of public and private networks. As technology options and service providers proliferate, consideration of the economies of telecommunications will become increasingly important. The development and application of methods and tools for alysing market conditions and market strategies, including the economics of communications technologies, networks and business operations, will become essential. ETT has commissioned this Focus on the Economics of Telecommunications as part of its programme of broadening the Journal to include research areas which are assuming increasing relevance to the communications industry, Topics of interest in this Focus include (but are not limited to): Supply and Demand Analysis; Investment Appraisal; Pricing Techniques; Economics of Technology and Network Options; Business Operations Analysis; Pricing and Network (eg con- gestion) control; Market and Competition Analysis; Regulatory Economics; Privatisation Economics; Alternative Economics Techniques. Contributions describing latest research results, particularly those involving new modelling tech- niques, are solicited. Prospective authors should send five copies of their paper to one of the Guest Editors listed belon. The following deadlines will apply
