AB - This article outlines a method for adaptive simulation of an external load on the working shaft of a rotating mechanical drive, which is based on prediction of the behavior of the external load from data obtained for the angular position of the shaft, and also the work performed by the motor. The method proposed permits separate consideration of the effect of external force factors of a different nature. The first group includes factors caused only by the control system, and the second factors caused by displacement of the controlled shaft. Algorithms are given for construction of null- and first-order models.
