A proposal is made for optimizing the designs of interference-protected antennas by finding more accurate mathematical solutions for numerically synthesizing them and by correcting the engineering development in accordance with these solutions. Design expressions are obtained which make it possible to optimize an antenna and to find the conditions for forming antenna radiation patterns having a specified side-lobe level. The results of computer calculations are presented graphically.
