Finances. Will Tracz gave a short summary of SIGMICRO's financial health. Due to the $6000 loss incurred by MICRO-19, SIGMICRO has a negative fund balance. The ACM doesn't like this situation. We are taking no action on this, due to the large surplus expected from MICRO-20. Since the results from MICRO-20 won't show up on our balance sheet for several months, we will not be able to mail the Proceedings to all SIGMICRO members as we have in the past. Instead, we will include the best papers from the Proceedings in subsequent Newsletter issues. ยข MICRO-21. The Board decided to leave the site selection up to the Workshop Chairman, Yale Patt. The two sites currently under consideration are San Diego, CA, and Seattle, WA. Yale promised a decision by January. In order to broaden the appeal of the Workshops, the Board authorized an addition to the name of the meeting.
