AB - Short circuit in electrical installation is the main cause of building fires. One that is prone to fires is the boarding school building. The lack of knowledge about good and correct electrical installation standards that are understood by the students and the caretakers of the cottage makes this cottage fire prone to occur. The use of a damaged power cord or the use of an electrical cord that is too small in size is one of the causes of fire. In order to avoid cottage fires, it is necessary to apply good a nd correct electrical installation standards. The application of good and correct electrical installation standards is applied to the electrical installation of the gazebo building at the Al Mujaddadiyyah Islamic boarding school. The students and the manag er of the cottage can understand how to use the correct electrical installation. The application of this electrical installation standard can minimize fires in Islamic boarding schools by using electrical equipment that is in accordance with standards and providing insight into electrical installations to students and boarding school managers.
